Your child is your whole world. When they're happy, you're happy, and when they're hurting, the pain you feel for them is excruciating. But by the time you find yourself perusing the internet for help, you are already exhausted, have experienced many sleepless nights, and are losing hope. I would love to help improve your family's hopefulness and regain its vitality. Counseling provides a safe, compassionate space that can help children develop more full and healthy connections, which translates into feeling competent, worthy of love, and thus more resilient to handle life's struggles.

Practicing from a Child-Centered Play Therapy perspective, I believe that children are strong and capable. I utilize children's natural language, play, to process feelings and thoughts they don't understand. Play Therapy allows children to develop positive sense of self, learn to build relationships, and achieve overall wellness. I am passionate about helping misunderstood children (sometimes labeled as defiant, anxious or broken) increase their self-esteem, process experiences, and learn to effectively use their voice.
